Assessment comments
The following comments were left by the assessors: (edit ° history ° watch ° refresh) From John Walmsley, BBF Secretary It was good to come across a BBF entry here. I've updated some factual bits and pieces over the last month or two and added links to other bodies to which BBF belongs. I don't actually think it's productive simply putting a list of current adult (i.e. 2007) league teams and structure on the page, but have left it for now, as someone obviously took time to type it in - I did correct changes in the lower divisions and renaming of one team - which highlights the difficulties of keeping such a listing current. The official British Baseball website is better for that. Keeping a list of leagues/teams this will require changes every year, whereas I view the page reflecting more higher level static information about the BBF - perhaps its structure of membership, its role within UK sports as a whole, etc. Also, if we're going to list adult teams here, we should be consistent and list youth leagues/teams too - I don't propose doing so as we are in the final six weeks of this season. I'm sure more can be done with the entry, and I'll no doubt be back in the offseason to add more updates, and clear out the 2007 team lists. Happy for anyone else involved in or knowledgeable about the BBF to contribute. Regards John |
