Talk:Britic

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This notation, Britic, is not advocated nor endorsed by the Spelling Society (www.spellingsociety.org)

The society had a house stile from 1908 to 1960. It was called New Spelling. In 1960 the society stopped endorsing any particular scheme.

The society does have a way of approving a scheme as worthy of consideration. Members submit their scheme for peer review and when all objections are met, it will be published as a personal view.

Britic has not gone thru this review process.
