Talk:Britannia Airways Flight BY226A

See Britannia flight 3142 about the very same Incident.

I'm confused. It has always been known to me as BY226A. The BBC report (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/448473.stm) refers to BY226A However, on checking again in the Spanish accident report I see it is called flight BAL226A (http://www.fomento.es/NR/rdonlyres/88971AA3-A440-4E12-A167-63114D2D1DCB/2433/1999_054_A_texto_ENG.pdf).

But I can't find any official reference for 3142 anywhere. Emeraude 15:11, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Further, a Google search for 'Britannia flight 3142' or 'Britannia 3142' brings up nothing . However, a search for 'Flight 3142' brings up a Boeing 737 crash in Beunos Aires in the same year (see, for example, http://dnausers.d-n-a.net/dnetGOjg/310899.htm). Emeraude 15:19, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I have merged into here some extra info from Britannia flight 3142 which I am now convinced is wrongly named. I will nominate the other articel for deletion on the grounds that is misnamed and has been merged and is therefore surperfluous. Emeraude 15:01, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
