Is the Bristol Beaufort named after anyone in particular. eg Francis Beaufort, RN given the nautical connection? the Buckingham could be the Duke of B. as with the Blenheim , Beaufighter is presumably the "Beau" out of Beaufort + "fighter". GraemeLeggett 15:01, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Separate Bristol Engines?

I really like the timeline graph, but it really breaks up the article so much you can pretty much miss the Engines section below. Perhaps we should just move Engines to a separate article? Maury 12:01, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

the problem is the timeline itself, even if the detail of Bristol Engines were spun off it would still be appropriate to have a summary at that point. Shift the timeline template somewhere further down. GraemeLeggett 09:42, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
