Talk:Brisbane's music history
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If this page is to stay, it should be retitled Music of Brisbane, to follow similar format as Music of Hong Kong or Music of New York City. Further, to avoid deletion, it should discuss the culture & history of music in Brisbane, not just list a bunch of bands. --mtz206 (talk) 22:20, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Wait. Music of Brisbane already exists. As does Popular entertainment in Brisbane. What is the purpose of this new article?--mtz206 (talk) 22:27, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Proposed this article be merged to Music of Brisbane--mtz206 (talk) 22:27, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] go away
Go away - this is a public forum. I'm trying to define Brisbane Music history and I don't need it moved or merged with another page by the wikipedia nazis. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomaldo (talk • contribs)
Im sending this link out to 4000 musicians to get an accurate history of Brisbane Music History, and I don't need it changed.
- First, civlity, please. Leaving comments like this is disruptive. Second, please familiarize yourself with what Wikipedia is not. WP is not a public forum, it is an encyclopedia. It is not meant to be a place for a bunch of bands in a city to come and post bios about themselves. If you want to create an article about the history of music in Brisbane, please do so. But based on what you describe here [1], it doesn't seem that's what this is intended to be. --mtz206 (talk) 23:09, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- If you don't want your work changed, please don't submit it to a wiki. Fagstein 01:28, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
