[edit] Question about above updates
Eddroid, so I and others are clear - is it your intention that all of these be worked into the article somehow? I'm not sure how all of these are "encyclopedic" if you take my meaning. I think this is part of why the article was getting so bloated. We really want to avoid adding every company happening or press release to the article. The article should be more of a comprehensive summary of major historical events than a detailed list. Make sense? --Spike Wilbury ♫ talk 22:24, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delay in my response. Since I've resolved not to touch the main article anymore, my intention is that these updates be used as 3rd-party external sources for events mentioned in the main article which are only referenced by the Brightcove Blog. This follows Neil's revision comment that all self-references be removed. If some news is considered "un-encyclopedic", then I would recommend removing the mention from the main article and the associated 3rd-party mention from this list. --Eddroid (talk) 20:37, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Declined G11
I've declined the G11 put on this article at 15:25, June 6, 2008 by 194.74.202.254 and worked on improving the article. Much of it reads like a series of press releases (and appears to be cited to exactly that); this should be fixed. I removed quite a bit of material that I don't feel is very useful to the article. A few other things I did were useful fixes and such, so please do not simply revert me. Cheers. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 16:05, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
