[edit] Trivia

- The "cocaine" that Michael J. Fox snorted was really powdered milk.
- The name of Michael J. Fox's character, Jamie Conway, is a homonym of author Jay McInerney's name. In the novel, the primary character's full name is never given, he is referred to as "Coach" by Tad, and in the second person ("you") in the narration.
- Tom Cruise turned down the part later played by Michael J. Fox as he didn't like the idea of scenes involving him taking drugs.
