[edit] Novel

The film was adapted from a novel, Bright Lights, Big City. This article, I think, should become a disambiguation article. Br, Brz7 22:21, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia

This trivia is unsourced and ripped-off directly from the IMDB so I'm putting it here until he can be re-written and cited properly.--J.D. (talk) 15:41, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

  • The "cocaine" that Michael J. Fox snorted was really powdered milk.
  • The name of Michael J. Fox's character, Jamie Conway, is a homonym of author Jay McInerney's name. In the novel, the primary character's full name is never given, he is referred to as "Coach" by Tad, and in the second person ("you") in the narration.
  • Tom Cruise turned down the part later played by Michael J. Fox as he didn't like the idea of scenes involving him taking drugs.
