[edit] Proposed merge
The Carl Bridgewater article isn't a bio, it just covers his death and subsequent events. Suggest it be merged into this one. One Night In Hackney303 10:36, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Yew Tree Farm Four
The four people convicted and later acquitted of the murder of Carl Bridgewater should not be known as the Bridgewater Four. All other groups fighting miscarriages of justice are named after places. "Birmingham Four", "Guildford Six" etc. The "Yew Tree Farm Four" is more appropriate
I know the BBC have done an excellent job in spitting in the face of naminf conventions here, but it would be nice if this was changed (perhaps with a redirect.) WillE (talk) 20:41, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
I don't think there is a convention for this. The media works to its' own rules. Have added the opinions of the Appeal Judges concerning Vincent Hickey. Amongst all of this it is so easy to forget that an innocent 13-year old boy lost his life. 4th February 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.252.225.225 (talk) 21:52, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
