Talk:Brian Steidle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Please do not delete this. I'm working on it.
Brian Steidle has done more than most anyone else living or dead to draw attention to the gruesome truths about what's happening in Darfur. He's certainly noteworthy. Thank you!
Please bear with indiscretions, as I'm actively editing this page. I assure you, I'll resolve any remaining issues shortly. Thank you.--JT 01:07, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- I thought the 'under construction' tag would be useful, while you're working on the article. SteveRamone 01:13, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Under Construction
Thanks, Steve! I'm an author, but not all that into the whole Wiki thing... thanks for the constructive solution and assistance! (Maybe you can help with tags?) --JT 01:39, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WAITING
I've kinda run out of substance at the moment... but am waiting on a reply or two from inquiries before I remove the Construction flag. --JT 20:23, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] needs more nuetral tone
while the person in the article deserves positive view but this is an encyclopedia. The current tune of article is more of an advertisment rather than nuetral informative tone.Farmanesh 05:29, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your opinion. I don't happen to agree, since there's nothing being sold. It's unfortunate that a lack of negative thoughts on the man should make it seem like an advertisement. Feel free to add a Con to the Pro take, if you have something else to share? --JT 13:44, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'm afraid Farmanesh is right. All articles on Wikipedia have to be neutral in tone as well as contain only verifiable information. I've rewritten the article extensively to make it comply better with those policies.
- Essentially, articles must limit themselves to factual and verifiable statements only, not things like "History is sure to show that he played a key role in lessening the suffering of those people." I'd be happy to respond to any questions you might have about the changes I made, and change the article further if you feel I stripped too much out of it -- though like I say, anything that remains has to be neutral in tone and verifiable.--Father Goose 02:43, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
