Neutrality?

I have a lot of admiration for Brian Paddick, but am not comfortable with the neutrality of parts of this article. Can I propose a bit of a rewrite? Specifically, lines like...

His actions had an extremely positive effect on the crime rate of the Brixton area, and relations between the community and police improved dramatically. His popularity was also boosted by his willingness to engage in debate with the local community

...really ought to be backed up with some figures, and the point of view of Paddick's opponents explored. As the article stands, it seems to me to be open to criticism for being POV and unencyclopaedic - Ormondroyd 08:27, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

Change it how you see fit then. Be bold -- Francs2000 | Talk 21:22, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

OPERATION DURSLEY

Discus - OPERATION DURSLEY. Anyone able to tie Brian into Paddick era Brixton OPERATION DURSLEY when 200 kitted out riot cops supported by Special Branch descended on a local activist social centre ("The Button Factory" in Herne Hill Road) just 4 days after the Metroplitan Police Authority had sponsored a come all ye "POLICING DIVERSITY" extravaganza (27 March 2001) at Lamnbeth Town Hall? OPERATION DURSLEY was a pre -emptive police operation against political activists who police believed would be assisting in the organisation of forthcoming May Day Protests.
