[edit] Andy Kaufman

Brain's style of "humor" reminds me a lot of that used by Andy Kaufman. Perhaps a link to that more popular comedian - for term of reference - could be incorporated into the article? Yea? Ney?

I agree totally, and was thinking of posting such until I saw this very identical thought here. If Clevinger was not influenced by Kaufman, I'd swear he's the reincarnation.

[edit] Notable relatives

Is Michael J. Novosel Sr. the grandfather of webcomic artist Brian Clevinger? I ask this because of this edit. Now in all likelihood why would someone make that up, right. However I'd like to be certain so I am asking that someone out there please verify this statement. I have removed it from the Novosel article until then. While I'm not touching anything, please note the Andy Kaufman question above. Is there any proof OUTSIDE the 8-bit Theater site? If Clevinger is emulating and/or influenced by Kaufman, doing a "hoax" and keeping to it for a long duration (or never even revealing it) might be an "inside joke."
I doubt there's any proof outside the site. I doubt it's a joke, though. The guy wasn't famous, and it was only after Clevinger mentioned him on his website that anyone even made an article on him. I suspect he wouldn't even be on wikipedia if not for Brian Clevinger.
I think, not 100% sure, that you can see Brian sitting at the funeral. 2nd photo from bottom, middle row, 2nd from right bahamut0013 16:02, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
No, that's my Uncle John, who looks remarkably like me. If you look above him, there's a man standing and taking a picture. My face is obscured by his elbow. Doesn't really help. Kurosen (talk) 17:20, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
