It may be described as "red" in the label, but the colour is clearly rose-pink, which was the colour used for the empire. You can see it in use today on the ribbon of honours in the Order of the British Empire. Not red, not pink, somewhere in between. Wiki-Ed 16:21, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- I thought it was meant to be red originally, but because the red would be too dark a colour to print, made it appear as pink --Astrokey44 10:08, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
