[edit] Summary

Description

The Brisbane temple of LDS was completed in 2003 at a cost of $11M. The exterior is gray granite, and is a most imposing site high on a cliff above the Brisbane river.
They had a public open day that I missed at the time, and after it is consecrated, they have a rule that non-believers can no longer enter, even if they are photographers.

Here is one of the entrances lined with Petunias.
