Phoenix emblem decals attached to the last eight trams built in Brisbane between 1963 and 1964, from material salvaged from trams destroyed in the Paddington tram depot fire of September 1962. The phoenix emblems were affixed under the driver's windows. The last eight trams were known as "phoenix cars". |
