Brittany Dempsey is an American beauty queen from Dover, Delaware who was crowned Miss Delaware 2007 and competed for the title of Miss America 2008 which was ultimately won by Kirsten Haglund of Michigan.

Brittany is a student at the University of Delaware studying Fitness Management.

She was previously a top ten semi-finalist in the 2006 Miss Delaware contest and was Delaware's Junior Miss 2005. At the 2007 Miss Delaware preliminary competition she won the swimsuit award. Brittany shares her reign with Miss Delaware's Outstanding Teen 2007 Chelsea Betts.

Brittany is an accomplished dancer who studied many forms of dance throughout her life. She performed a jazz dance set to music from the movie soundtrack of Moulin Rouge! for the talent competition at Miss America. Her personal platform is C.A.T.C.H. (Coordinated Approach to Child Health).

Brittany will crown her successor in June of 2008.
