British Steel Redcar railway station was opened to serve the huge British Steel/Corus Group site. It is located in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire. It is located on the Tees Valley Line and operated by Northern Rail who provide all passenger train services.
According to the SRA only 486 tickets to or from British Steel Redcar station were sold during 2004-05 as there is a very limited service.

Monday to Fridays, only one train per day in each direction between Middlesbrough and Saltburn serves the station.
