British National Committee for Space Research

The British National Committee for Space Research (BNCSR) was Britain's regional membership group of Committee on Space Research (COSPAR). It was set up by the Royal Society in 1958. Its first meeting was held on 4 March 1959 and was chaired by Harrie Massey.
