British Columbia Dart Association

The British Columbia Dart Association (BCDA) is the provincial sanctioning body for the sport of darts in British Columbia, Canada. It is a not for profit organization whose purpose is "to promote, within the Province of British Columbia, interest in the game and the true spirit of said game" and "to establish control and the development of darts for men, women and children regardless of age, race, color or creed"[1] The BCDA is, itself, governed by the National Darts Federation of Canada (NDFC) which is the national sanctioning body for darts in Canada.

[edit] Board of Directors

The BCDA is led by a Board of Directors consisting of 7 people who are elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting which is held on the final day of the Provincial Playdowns. The positions on the Board of Directors consist of the President, Provincial Director, Vice-President/Tournament Director, Membership Director/Treasurer, Secretary, Youth Director and Webmaster. In order to ensure continutity with the Board of Directors, the voting schedule for the positions is staggered into two groups in accordance with the following table.

Group A is elected every odd-year and Group B is elected every even-year.
