From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The British Columbia Country Music Association is a Canadian artist organization designed "to promote, foster and encourage the development, public appreciation of, and interest in, the British Columbia Country Music Community - provincially, nationally and internationally."[citation needed]

One of BCCMA's most prominent activities is its awards show, hosted annually since 1977. It is designed to highlight prominent and up-and-coming British Columbia artists. Past award winners include Lisa Brokop, The Cruzeros, Farmer's Daughter, and K.D. Lang.
