[edit] Plot summary
Though its infamous sister ship the Titanic has received most of the attention over the last ninety-six years, the Britannic also met an untimely watery end. A true story that has remained largely untold, the Britannic was one of the largest passenger liners in the world when it sunk, although at the time of its sinking, it had been converted into a hospital troop ship. The film imagines that the ocean liner's demise was the doing of German spies on board the vessel. Along with this, the film follows the problems that a budding romance between a young Briton and German brings on the couple, as their countries are in the midst of fighting the First World War on opposing sides.
