The Bristol Arena was a proposed 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena for Bristol, England. It was due to open in 2009.
On 13 December 2007, it was confirmed that there is a funding shortfall of £40 million, and the arena will not be built. A mixed housing/commercial development will still take place on the site. [1]
