Brinker International, Inc. (NYSEEAT) is the parent company of Chili's, On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina, Maggiano's Little Italy, and Romano's Macaroni Grill. While it describes itself as "the premier casual dining restaurant company in the world", it is the largest casual-dining restaurant operator in terms of revenue behind Darden Restaurants, with more than 1,800 restaurant locations in 20 countries.[1][2]

Norman Brinker was married to Nancy Brinker who also helped found the company as well as Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Komen Race for the Cure.

It was founded in 1975 as Chili's Bar and Grill, purchased by restaurateur Norman E. Brinker and Nancy Brinker in 1983 and rechristened Brinker International in 1990; it now has over 1,500 restaurants worldwide with 100,000 employees and system-wide sales exceeding $4 billion annually. Based in Dallas, Texas, it is the largest employer based in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.[3]
