Seventeen years has passed since the murder of Joraiem Andira and civil war racks Werthanin as Aljeron Balinor, a close friend of Joraiem, seeks to avenge the murder. The murderer, Rulalin, hides in his home city, Fel Edorath, unable to stop Aljeron's army from laying siege to the city. Slowly, Aljeron's army closes in on Fel Edorath, determined to capture Rulalin, and avenge his close friend's death. But Rulalin secretly escapes with his friend Soran to the last thing that can save him: Malek.

Meanwhile, back at Amaan Sul, the son of Joraiem and Wylla, Benjiah Andira, discovers his true identity: he is Allfather's prophet. Valzaan who comes to Amaan Sul, takes Benjiah under his wings and begins to lead him to his true destiny. Valzaan, then, decides to then take Benjiah and his bumbling uncles, Pedraan and Pedraal, to the warfront at Fel Edorath to aid Aljeron's army in their campaign. Valzaan, also, sensed that Malek's hour was near at hand and indeed it was.... Malek's armies now emerges from the mountain, led by Farimaal, a quite, but fierce general and Cheimontyr, a powerful Vulstryim, with his powerful hammer he controls the weather, nicknamed the Bringer of Storms. Aljeron, seeing that Malek has return, withdrew from Fel Edorath. He meets Valzaan as they withdrew, meeting Benjiah for the very first time. Malek's army gives chase and a fierce battle was fought. Aljeron's army continues to retreat to Col Marena to escape south. Here they were caught up by Malek's army again and as its seem the battle was lost, Valzaan confronted Cheimontyr, who blasted Valzaan into the sea. Aljeron armies, then managed to escape to Col Marena.
