Brimin Kipruto (born July 31, 1985 in Korkitony) is a Kenyan middle distance runner.
He mainly competes in 3000 m steeplechase, where his personal best is 8:04.22 minutes.
Young Kipruto has already won two medals at major international competitions. He won the silver medal in the 3000 m steeplechase at the 2004 Olympic Games. In the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki he won a bronze medal in the same event. He finished third again at the 2005 IAAF World Athletics Final. In 2006 he finished sixth at the World Athletics Final, repeating his place from 2004.
He lives in Korkitony and trains with the Global Sports group in Kaptagat near Eldoret under coaches Patrick Sang and Joseph Chelimo.
