Brigitte Harris

Briggitte Harris (born 1981) was the victim of sexual abuse by her father.
On July 28, 2007 she handcuffed, asphyxiated and castrated her stepfather, 55-year-old Eric Goodridge a Liberian immigrant, in her attic apartment in Far Rockaway Queens, New York.
Her driving motivation appears to have been revenge for alleged sexual abuses occurring from age 3 to 18. Experts in the field of psychology are calling the case unique, because it is rare for a victim to kill the abuser.
Harris's sister, Carleen Goodridge, has made repeated public statements about her sister's and her own sexual abuse in the wake of the crime.[1][2][3]
