Brightwood School

Brightwood School is a public elementary school in the city of Monterey Park, California. It is part of the Alhambra Unified School District. Enrollment is approximately 800 students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is notable for its ethnic diversity and the large variety of foreign languages represented among its students.

The policy, which applied to the Alhambra School District, began in September 1996. The policy remained after the consolidation of ASD and AHSD, with the policy applying to all Kindergarten through 8th grade students.
