Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQCELL) is a leading global communications technology firm that specializes in the distribution of wireless devices and in providing customized logistics services to the wireless industry.

On July 31, 2007 Brightpoint closed its purchase of Denmark-based Dangaard Telecom A/S. Combined, Brightpoint and Dangaard had 2006 revenue of $4.6 billion. With 3,700 employees and 25,000 customers in 25 countries, they handled 64 million wireless devices globally[1] in 2006.

The corporate headquarters of the combined entity is in Plainfield, Indiana while Padborg, Denmark, the European Headquarters of Dangaard Telecom, is the European headquarters of the combined entity.

Brightpoint's services include distribution, channel development, product customization, E-Business solutions, and other outsourced services that integrate with its customers.

In 2007, Brightpoint was selected as one of America's Most Admired Companies by FORTUNE Magazine, ranking in the top 5 of the "Wholesalers: Electronics" category.
