Brighton Central School District

The Brighton Central School District is a public school district in New York State that serves approximately 3700 students in the town of Brighton and portions of Pittsford and Rochester in Monroe County with over 600 employees and an operating budget of $53 million (~$14,676 per student).[1]
The average class size is 21 students and the student-teacher ratio is 12:1 (elementary), 11:1 (middle-high school).[2]
Chris Manaseri is the current Superintendent of Schools.

The Board of Education is comprised of seven elected members. Members serve overlapping three-year terms with two to three seats up election each year. The current boards members (June 2007) are:
