Brighton Beach (South Georgia)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brighton Beach (54°7′S, 37°10′W) is a beach lying between Zero and Adventure Points in Possession Bay, on the north coast of South Georgia. The name appears on a chart showing the results of a survey by DI personnel in 1926-30, and derives from the beach being crowded with fauna as Brighton Beach, which is a popular tourist resort on the south coast of England.
