Bright Eyes Germany is a German heavy metal and hard rock Magazine, which is available for free on the internet. The magazine has existed since the middle of 1999 and is run by Bernd Joachim, Thomas Klaner, Carsten Nissen, René Otto and Oliver Vollmer in addition to some freelancers. Between 1999 and 2002 Bright Eyes Germany released 15 printed issues. Since the beginning of 2003 the Magazine is completely run as an online magazine. The Bright Eyes Magazine writes about a large variety of music, including; heavy metal, death metal, speed metal, power metal, progressive rock,progressive metal, thrash metal, nu metal, metalcore, hardcore, gothic metal, black metal, hardrock, dark wave, industrial and album-oriented rock) but also features singers/songwriter and authors outside or the rock and metal genres. The magazine also writes about radio plays, movies and books.

The online magazine is daily updated and offers (at October 1st 2006) more than 700 interviews, about 8.000 reviews of CDs and DVDs, over 100 live-concert reports and more than 50 festival reports from festivals all over Europe with more than 15.000 self made live photos of the acts playing there.
