Brierfield railway station serves the small town of Brierfield, Lancashire and is on the East Lancashire Line 3 km (2ΒΌ miles) east of Burnley Central railway station towards Colne (the terminus).
Opened with the line on 1st Feb 1849 but originally called "Marsden" until 1857. It is now single track, but the double track-bed and the disused down platform are still there, as is the signal box which now only operates the level crossing. There is an active Rail user Group;- "The Friends of Brierfield Station"
