Bridget McDonough

Bridget McDonough has been employed in arts management since graduating from Northwestern University in 1978. She co-founded Light Opera Works in 1980, and has produced more than 400 performances of 77 shows for the company, including Chicago and American premieres by Kálmán, Bernstein, Offenbach and others.

McDonough served as business manager for the Organic Theater in Chicago, assistant to the producer of the Troupe Summer Repertory Theater in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and worked with Actors' Equity Association.

McDonough is a founding member and past president of the Chicago Dance and Music Alliance, and holds membership in the Rotary Club of Evanston, Illinois Arts Alliance and Union League Club of Chicago. Bridget is past president of the Rotary Club of Evanston, and served on the boards of the Evanston Convention and Visitors' Bureau and Evanston Chamber of Commerce, as well as National Alliance for Musical Theatre and School of Communication Alumni Board at Northwestern University.
