Bridgeburne R was a one time band made up of members from As Friends Rust and Speak 714.
[edit] History
Bridgeburne R was an idea originally started during the small hiatus time for As Friends Rust in 2000. The idea was to recreate a 1980's punk band, and to create a fake discography, made up of 7"s and splits tracks. The made up band located itself to Texas and used fake names, in order to keep the identity secret.
The fake band was formed in 1984, and released five fictional 7"s; 1986 Demo (1986, Kidz4kidz Records), Scenekiller (1987, Shotput Records), The Kids Can Eat Our Shit (1989, Maedog Recordings), Split with Born Against (1991, Hogwash Records) and Split with Nausea (1992, Hogwash Records). The two bands listed as part of the splits are real bands, however the releases were made up, in order to fake legitimacy.
The band broke up in 1994, with the end of the punk movement. In 2001 they asked Genet Records to release a discography collection dubbed "What Do You Know About Bridgeburne R - The Singles Collection, 1986-1992.
The real band, the members within, played a few shows in Europe to help sell the record.
