Briarton is an unincorporated community in Shawano County, Wisconsin, United States, west of Green Bay. Briarton is a small community that started out as a Belgian settlement. Today, there is little economic activity in Briarton; however, there is a steel shop in town. Briarton is located at the intersection of Highway 156 and Old Highway 47 Road. Recently, there has been new growth in Briarton with new houses being built every year.
