Brian was born on June 5, 1985 in Butler, Alabama. He played college football for Stillman College at the positions of cornerback and kick returner. He also ran track for Stillman, he was an All-American in Division II. On April 27, 2008 he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is the only player in the history of the franchise to play at Stillman. He joins Rashod Moulton and Drayton Florence as the only players on the Jaguars to play in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Oddly enough, all three of them are cornerbacks.
