Brian Whitman (born September 26, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois) is a Christian guitarist and vocalist who played guitar with Christian rock band Audio Adrenaline and also sang back-up vocals (BGVs) for the band.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, at age 16 he was inspired to play guitar by U2's The Edge while attending Wheaton North High School. He later attended DuPage College.

Whitman moved to Los Angeles in 2001, where his songs were used in the films such as Miramax's "Serendipity" and WB's "Glory Days"
In 2002, he landed a featured role in a music video by pop music star Britney Spears. He got his start playing for the Christian band All Star United and later went to stints with Lackluster and Matthew.
In 2005, he began playing secondary guitar and background vocals for Christian rock band Audio Adrenaline and stayed with them until the bands 2007 disbanding due to lead vocalist Mark Stuart's vocal challenges.
In 2007, he released his first album, "This Great Defeat".

Whitman says that if a movie was ever made of his life, he would desire it to be starred in by actor Ewan McGregor.
He also looks for humility in musicians. He says : "It's an anti-rock star attitude, but every once in a while, you come across musicians who are incredibly gracious with the talent they've been given."
