Brian Turner (born July 31, 1949) was a New Zealand soccer player, who was a prominent squad member during the country's only successful campaign to qualify for the World Cup, in 1982. His international career spanned a then national record 102 caps from 1967 to 1982, his final match being in New Zealand's 4-0 defeat by Brazil in the World Cup finals tournament in Spain, where he came on as a substitute near the end of the match.
