Brian Telestai

Brian Telestai (born Brian Thomas on October 2, 1984) is an American musician. He grew up in Thornton, Colorado. After high school, Brian moved to Orange County, CA where he attended Hope International University.

[edit] I Am Ghost

In winter of 2005, Brian joined post-hardcore band I Am Ghost to play bass/keybaord/vocals. The band signed to Epitaph Records in 2006. I Am Ghost has also had several media mentions in magazines, including a Metal Hammer Interview. They also have been interviewed for several websites, and had their EP reviewed in several UK music magazines. Not only have they had their EP reviewed in Metal Hammer, they've also been included in the publications' Dead Hot 50 Band's of 2006 List.

I Am Ghost toured with Biffy Clyro, TheAUDITION and The Bronx on the Kerrang! Tour 2007, the Epitaph Tour 2007 with Escape the Fate, The Matches, and The Higher, the Take Action Tour in 2006, and played on Warped Tour 2006 and Warped Tour 2007.

Brian is currently the co-frontman for Telestai, along with his wife, Kerith Telestai. He plays guitar, bass, programming, and vocals on Telestai's debut release, Start The Revolution, which was released on January 7th, 2008.

Aside from being covered in I Am Ghost, Brian has been featured in several magazine articles in AP Magazine, and was also featured on Warped Wednesday's on Fuse TV. He won $1,000 at the Fuse TV after party in Dallas, Texas for riding a mechanical bull for 52 seconds.

Brian was also featured on a display in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during the museum's exhibition featuring the Van's Warped Tour.
Brian has also been a model for Hot Topic since 2006 and has been featured in many online add campaigns, as well as several international in-store and store-front promotions.

[edit] Relationship With Kerith Telestai

Brian is married to Kerith Telestai, past violinist/vocalist of I Am Ghost. They were married sometime after I Am Ghost's stint on the 2006 Van's Warped Tour in Costa Mesa, CA. He proposed to Kerith on stage at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA on February 4, 2006 when I Am Ghost opened up for Tiger Army. Footage of the proposal can be seen on Youtube. Their proposal and wedding pictures were covered inPunk Rock Confidential Magazine. They sang their wedding vows as a song. Brian and Kerith both changed their last names to Telestai after getting married.
