In 2000, his limited success continued until the Sears Craftsman 175, where he finished 11th. He also switched teams to the #54 unsponsored Chevy. In 2001, he gained sponsorship from Cutler-Hammer, but they parted ways. He later moved on to the #0 truck sponsored by Intensitee Custom Race Wear. This also lasted a race also, as he moved on again, this time the #81 Ware Racing Enterprises Chevy. He later gained sponsorship from Cooper Wiring. In the last race he entered in the 2001 season, he moved to the #71 Chevy sponsored by Oshmans.

In 2002, he came back to the #54 Chevy sponsored by Maddux Supply Co. and later Lowdermilk Electric. He struggled throughout the 2002 season. The 2003 CTS season would be his last season in the Craftsman Truck Series. In his last race, he and his sponsor moved to the #5 Ware Racing Enterprises team, but wrecked and was released at the end of the season.
In his first season in the Busch Series, he went to the #94 Chevy sponsored by RaceApe.com. Later in the season, he moved to the #41 Chevy sponsored by cashwell.com.
