Brian John Poldberg (born May 16, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska) is the manager of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Prior to his coaching/managing career, Poldberg played a total of six seasons in the New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals minor league systems.
Poldberg began his coaching career in 1987. He has since managed six different minor league clubs and served in coaching positions for several others. He is known for his exhaustive work with catchers. The Carter Lake, Iowa native has spent 20 years with the Royals organization, developing young players and especially catchers.
