Brian Plotkin (born August 3, 1984 in Lisle, Illinois) is an American soccer player, who currently plays for the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer.
He played club soccer for the Chicago Sockers FC from the U12 to U19 levels, and played college soccer for Indiana University from 2002 to 2005, featuring in 90 games and accumulating 21 goals and 34 assists. He was named Big 10 Player of the Year in 2005, First Team All Big Ten three consecutive years from 2003-2005, and First Team All-American in 2005. He also spent time with both Chicago Fire Premier and Indiana Invaders in the USL Premier Development League.
Brian was selected in the second round 20th overall by the Chicago Fire in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft.
