Brian Andrew Munhall (born June 17, 1980 in San Antonio, Texas) is a minor league baseball catcher, most recently with the Nashville Sounds, Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

[edit] Minor league career

Munhall began his career in the San Francisco Giants organization. He played his first season, 2002, their rookie league affiliate, the AZL Giants. In 2003, he was promoted to the Class A Hagerstown Suns. He spent most of the 2004 season, but also played a few games with the Class A-Advanced San Jose Giants and the Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies. He split 2005 between San Jose and Fresno, and played the entire 2006 season with the Double-A Connecticut Defenders. In 2007, he played for the independent Golden Baseball League's Edmonton Cracker-Cats. On September 4, he was purchased by the Nashville Sounds, Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, where he spent the remainder of the season. He was released from the Brewers organization prior to the start of the 2008 season.
