Brian James (cricketer)

Brian James was a first class cricketer who played 4 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1954. he also appeared for Yorkshire Second XI between 1953 and 1959.

A left arm fast medium bowler, he took 8 wickets at 28.5 with a best of 4 for 54 against Cambridge University. He scored 22 runs and was dismissed just twice in 5 innings. His top score was 11* against Cambridge University.

He was born on April 23, 1934 in Darfield, Barnsley and died in 2000.
