From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brian Henneman is an alt-country musician best known as the frontman for the Bottle Rockets as lead singer, and guitar. Between tours with Uncle Tupelo, Jay Farrar, Jeff Tweedy, and Mike Heidorn formed a band called Coffee Creek with Henneman and played country covers in small clubs and bars. Henneman later was invited to be a guitar technician and occasional multi-instrumentalist for the band.[1] After the break-up of Uncle Tupelo, Henneman played lead guitar on Wilco's A.M.[2]. In 1992, Henneman released a solo single "Indianapolis" backed with "Get Down River" and "Wave That Flag" with vocal and instrumental back-up by the members of Uncle Tupelo.
