Brian Joseph Harnois is one of the stars of the Sci-Fi Channel's hit reality show "Ghost Hunters" and "Ghost Hunters International". Harnois originated the catch phrase "Dude, Run!" for Ghost Hunters when he and a camera man ran out of the Eastern State Penitentiary after allegedly witnessing an apparition.

Brian was born and raised an only child in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and served in the United States Air Force Special Security Forces at Minot Air Force Base in Minot, ND.(Military Police). He became interested in the paranormal at the age of 11, when he allegedly witnessed a full body apparition while sleeping over at a childhood friend's home. He has studied the paranormal ever since, including but not limited to the technical and scientific aspects. Having participated in well over 500 paranormal investigations, Brian claims to have witnessed almost every kind of paranormal activity generally accepted as identifiable, including apparitions, shadows, levitation, and even exorcisms.

Harnois is an avid reader of fantasy, science fiction, and horror books, as well as a diehard fan of film, specifically horror and Science-Fiction genres.[citation needed] He is a Star Wars fanatic and a collector of Darth Vader memorabilia.[citation needed] Brian is an aspiring writer with a few articles to his name,[citation needed] and is currently in the process of writing his first book. Brian and his fiancee just welcomed baby girl, Mackenzie Harnois.

Brian is a member of the Ghost Hunters International TV program on SciFi.
