Brian Green (born 5 June 1935 in Droylsden, England) is a former football (soccer) coach and player. Green was coach of the Australian national football team in 1975 and 1976 before being charged and convicted of stealing an LP record.[citation needed] Green also held coaching positions in Norway with FK Start and Bryne FK. Bryne FK won two Silver Medals in 1980 and 1982 in the highest league in Norway with Brian Green, and thus qualified for the UEFA Cup in 1981 and 1983.
