Brian Farrell (Roman Catholic Bishop)

Bishop Brian Farrell (born 8 February 1944) is a Roman Catholic bishop in the Roman Curia.
Farrell was born in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. Ordained a priest on 26 November 1969 for the Congregation of the Legionaries of Christ, he was appointed Titular Bishop of the Diocese of Abitinae[1] and Secretary for Promoting Christian Unity in the Roman Curia at the Vatican on 19 December 2002. He was ordained a bishop on 6 January 2003 by Pope John Paul II; his principal co-consecrators were Archbishops Leonardo Sandri and Antonio Maria VegliĆ².
