Brian Colin Castle

The Rt Rev.Brian Colin Castle is the current Suffragan Bishop of Tonbridge ^[1]. He was born on 7 September 1949, educated at University College London^[2] and ordained in 1978 after a period of study at Cuddesdon ^[3]. He began his career with a curacy at St Nicholas, Sutton^[4] and was then successively Priest in charge at Solwezi, Zambia, Vicar of Northmore Green, Somerset^[5] and Director of Pastoral Studies at his old theological college before his elevation to the Episcopate. A keen fly fisherman and cross country skier^[6], he is married with three children.
