Brian Matthew Chase (born October 8, 1981 in Washington, D.C.) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the TBL's Beşiktaş Cola Turka.

He played college basketball for Virginia Tech between 1999 and 2003. He averaged 10.9 points 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game during his 4 year stint with Virginia Tech [1]. He also earned his degree in human services.

Chase went undrafted in 2003 NBA Draft. He joined ABA team Maryland Nighthawks, where he averaged 8.4 points and 2.3 assists in 13 games for 2004-05 season. He spent 2005-06 season with Gary Steelheads of Continental Basketball Association, Roanoke Dazzle of NBA Development League and Nebraska Cranes of United States Basketball League. In the offseason of 2006-07 NBA Season he was signed by Utah Jazz, but released without playing a regular season game. Afterwards he joined Los Angeles D-Fenders, he averaged 16.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists during that season. He was also selected in NBDL All-Star game.

Before 2007-08 NBA Season, he signed a 2 year $1.4 million contract with Miami Heat [2]. He appeared in 7 preseason games, but released before the regular season. He came back to D-Fenders, and averaged 16.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists.

On March 19, 2008, Chase's transfer to Turkish club Beşiktaş Cola Turka was confirmed [3].
