Brian Barlow is a Canadian comedian and actor, originally from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada but currently living in Toronto. He is best known for creating and hosting The Loner Show a monthly solo character comedy show where anything but stand-up is allowed. The Loner Show is part of Laugh Sabbath, a collective of like minded comedians that perform every Sunday at The Rivoli. Brian's most popular character is Poppa Proppa, Canada's Oldest Prop Comic.
Brian is also a member of The Gurg, an improvisation/sketch comedy duo with comedian Chris Locke. The Gurg were nominated for the prestigious Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award in 2003. Together they appeared on CBC Radio One, The Toronto Show, and Cream of Comedy.
